Being a lover of words and their meanings, I decided to check out the definition of the word, “shack” in Webster’s 1828 dictionary. It is this writer’s opinion that Webster’s work was done when people were still interested in real education, real communication and the specific words that made for clear understanding. Most of the words in the 1611 King James Version of the Bible are clearly defined in the 1828 dictionary according to author and researcher Gail Kiplinger. (You can also find her videos on this blog. )
I found Webster’s definitions revealing…
SHACK, noun In ancient customs of England, a liberty of witer pasturage. In Norfolk and Suffolk, the lord of the manot has a shack, that is, liberty of feeding his sheep at pleasure on his tenants’ lands during the dix winter months. In Norfolk, shack extends to the common for hogs, in all men’s grounds, from harvest to seed time; whence to go a-shack, is to feed at large.In New England, shack is used in a somewhat similar sense for mast or the food of swine, and for feeding at large or in the forest, [for we have no manors, ] and I have heard a shiftless fellow, a vagabond, called a shack.
Shack… “ food of swine,“ The bible tells us;
And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea. Mark 5:12,13
The author of the book, Paul Young, is a Universalist and believes everyone is saved, whether they repent and believe in Jesus Christ or not.
Here is a radio/video with Michael Youssef and a link to Lighthouse Trails Research, exposing Young from his new book. Any writer knows making a contract with a publisher requires not just one but usually at least three books from the author. He isn’t done yet, beware.

“A little leaven leavens the whole lump.” (Gal.5:9) A half truth is still a lie, and an “omission” or “co-mission” of a transgression still leads one to hell, without the repentance required for the saving grace of Christ.
Tell your friends who believe that Christ is the Way, the TRUTH, and the Life, to stay away from this movie, it is a lie straight out of hell.
