Yale Social Transformation Conference

Students at Yale University have recently been audience to Tony Blair who helped to  usher in the Social Transformation Conference, being held April 1 and 2.

His message is that  “good people” cannot be seen as not going to heaven. His agenda is global faith, global government, tolerance. He calls it reconciliation. This is the Hegelian Dialectic in action. If we attempt to “understand”another’s faith, you and I are literally “standing under” their ideas and premise. We as believers need to know what others believe, but we need not have a dialogue about God’s absolutes so we all “get along.”

The getting along will always culminate in the Christian questioning God’s absolutes. It is the first mode of attack by those who do not wish to hear the truth. Things that God has established as absolutes need not be questioned. “Does the clay ask the potter why have you made me this way?”

God says in Isaiah 55: 8-9 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD.   “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways  and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

God has a plan. Without suffering, (including bad and ruthless governments) many people would never ask God to redeem them. It is harder for a rich man to get to heaven than it is for a camel to get through the eye of a needle. Alleviating suffering and hostility in the world will only drive mankind into a “tower of Babel” experience. Man will attempt to solve his own problems without God’s help or by assuming one is his own God because he thinks he is solving the problems through Humanism.

See Lighthouse Trails Research- on Rick Warren and Tony Blair (scroll 1/2 way down page for article)

Rick Warren’s name appears on Blair’s Religious Advisory Council:  About Us

Blair’s whole premise is on communication about one’s beliefs. But it isn’t really communication, it is amalgamation… blending. (You could call it “one-world religion”) If you remember our first Pink Apron Regiment meeting, we learned (and you may see on Tooaware’s You Tube Channel- “Deception and the Dialectic” a must see to understand what is happening in Christianity today) conversation about the absolute truth is demonic. God’s standards are absolute. The enemy started dialogue about the word of God in the garden with Eve.

Be alert. Your faith MUST be your own. We as believers must question eveything we hear, no matter who says it. We MUST know our bibles. We MUST be actively studying and praying. Tremendous changes are about to take place around the world for Christians and in America.

DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK. Turn off the TV or whatever it is that causes distraction for you and investigate what you have read here. Let the links provided on this blog and those you find on the subsequent websites lead you to new understanding. Remember to engage in the High Level Spiritual Warfare we learned about at our last P.A.R.meeting.

Are you prepared to stand alone on the word of God, before your Christian friends, your pastor, your family and before God? You do NOT have to believe everything you hear. Do believe what God lays on your heart, and what the Spirit bears witness to from the whole counsel of God, not just topical information – and act on it. Topical studies can confuse, and eliminate powerful parts of scripture that will lead you astray. The bible tells us to study God’s word, “line upon line and precept upon precept” (Isaiah 28:10) for this very reason.  This is not to say we can never do a topical study, just beware… some are taught with an agenda.

“Suck it up girls!” This is not your mother’s world. We are facing either the greatest falling away known to the believing church or one of the greatest revivals. Which would you choose to experience?

Please see the Paul McGuire you tube in the previous post. Remember what he spoke of on the last DVD. All money is spiritual. Look what Yale is studying on this You Tube from their page Spiritual Capital Initiative.

These people are looking to create a humanistic “new-world order.” They will be meeting in June and have invited prominant people in religion to their gathering. This all stemming from Yale University.

New Church to Adopt the City…But Where’s the Gospel?

In my neighborhood, a new church is starting… meeting in a Karate Studio and the next door Pub and Grill.  If you have been reading the posts on this site, you have learned how sobering it is to walk the walk in holiness and reverence for our Lord. The “Freedom Church”  “Love Jesus,” Serves People,” and “Adopts a City.”

I know these are big pictures, but to see the whole brochure, big is better.

If you like, when you go there on April 3, you can enter a raffle according to their door to door advertisement left on our knob this week. We received a free raffle ticket attached at the bottom for an “ipad2,” “dinner and a movie for two,” a 6 week cardio kick boxing class,’ or 6 weeks of Karate classes.

God bless people who desire to share the gospel, but on the video (see below) I  think the bible is mentioned once, and most of what the people have to say is about their experience there. I am sure there are well intentioned people there who love the Lord. I am not criticizing, I am observing.

You can see from the video, there are people there of every age, and apparently the worship leader “Justice” is quite popular. Everyone is “pumped up,” which I think I heard a number of times in the church video. They are pumped up because Justice “brought it.” I suppose that is related to the message somehow, but Justice himself is interested in Jesus, people and the city.

In fact, one follower thinks it is “stinkin’ awesome,” and was once again “pumped” that there were so many people there. They are also  selling church “apparel” to help support the Freedom Kids Club.

There is no mention of the gospel, it’s ability to forgive, it’ s need for true repentance or the “brokenness” over sin.  However, you can get your laundry done by church members  once or twice a month, as they “reach out,’ to the city.  Perhaps that’s when they talk about the gospel… that in the dryer missing socks “go to be with Jesus” as the late comedienne Irma Bombeck wrote.

On their  website  “Mancave” page, they will be, “trying to follow Jesus together.”  I try to diet, I try to remember to exercise, I try new products, I try to study. As they say in the recovery world…”to try is to die.”

I wonder how many souls will die for lack of sound biblical doctrine; for living under the idea that we can get “pumped” at a worship service and fail to know the living God in all of His glory, power and deserved reverence.

Oh well, maybe it’s me. I ‘m a mother. In fact, a grandmother- and it’s “not your mother’s church, ” As their brochure states. No need to tell me. Perhaps it is not a church at all. Or maybe just not the “true church.” I don’t know. Only the Messiah will differentiate that upon his coming to judge the seven churches. I sure  hope he can recognize himself reflected in this one.

Good intentions, acts of kindness, doing someone’s laundry neither get us to heaven or help someone else come to the Lord.  As R.C. Sproule explains in  a recent you tube post to this site, people are not looking for Jesus, they are looking for peace, relief from guilt,  meaning and significance… all the benefits of a relationship with God without the commitment. It is only by God’s grace that one is driven to the cross. It isn’t by having someone else do the laundry for you.

This kind of “city” thinking is part of the move to change the church in America. As Paul McGuire reminds us there will be persecution of Christians here even in this country, but not for the one’s who have chosen to participate in the “state” church.  Reaching the city for Jesus is not a new concept. The emergent church has been attempting to do this for years.

There are some churches and church leaders who have succumbed to a political agenda. The following is an example of how the government can get tied into the church.

The president urged church leaders to push the health-care agenda in 2009.  Obama Asks Clergy

He asked clergy to “spread the facts and speak the truth” to refute misinformation among reform opponents “bearing false witness” by saying, among other things, the government plans to set up “death panels” to decide whether elderly citizens receive necessary care. ~UPI.com He asked clergy to “spread the facts and speak the truth” to refute misinformation among reform opponents “bearing false witness” by saying, among other things, the government plans to set up “death panels” to decide whether elderly citizens receive necessary care. ~UPI.com

Maybe the “Freedom Church”  is just a little too free thinking, or not interested in freedom at all.

To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.  Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” ~John 8:31-32  (italics added)

Time will tell.

The Coming Persecution

"Believing women getting out of the kitchen and into the culture..."

Many of you know about Paul McGuire  and his end times teaching if you have been attending P.A.R. monthly meetings. In the following You Tube, he explains the coming persecution of Christians, in this country.

Through his research and analysis of world history, particularly Nazi Germany, and the church as it responded and succumbed to Hitler’s leadership, McGuire warns those of us who are believers to be prepared.  At our last meeting we heard Paul discuss the underpinnings of Hitler’s reign; the occult. We also learned that occult practices were common to him and his circle of influence. We were also made aware at our last meeting of the spiritual warfare we face, which most believers do not know how to pray against, or do not see it for what it is and just don’t bother.

The following You Tube segment deals with some of the most profound subject matter Paul McGuire has  ever addressed. He is becoming more courageous and forthright with his warnings. If by some freak chance he is wrong (In this writers opinion, he is biblically sound and a true watchman on the wall) we lose nothing. We will be stronger, better informed on spiritual warfare and what is going on in the world around us. Hopefully and most important- is that we will be given over to a more holy life, set apart for God’s purpose.

Pray about what you hear, do your own research as Paul suggests. There is nothing to fear. If God is for us, who can be against us? We must remember that no one knows the day or time of Messiah’s return for His church, but it would be foolish to think that it isn’t coming soon, possibly in our lifetime.

Please take about 5 minutes to hear what he has to say about the church in America.

Pray for Asia Bibi

Asia Bibi stood for Yeshua, sharing her resistance to Islam with coworkers simply by telling them that Mohammad died with worms in his mouth during a water break in the fields where she was working. The incident led to a report to authorities and Bibi was arrested. She is now facing the death sentence according to the following CNN report.  After 18 months of jail time, she and her family await her demise at the hands of the Pakistani courts.

Asia Bibi

Believers are being martyred  for there faith in Yeshua  all over the world. Please take a few moments and see this You Tube; and subscribe to the Voice of the Martyrs You Tube Channel. Sign up to get emails every time they upload a new video. This to remind us, that we are responsible to pray for our brothers and sisters in Yeshua and also be mindful of the threats facing us here in this country.

The stories are not pleasant, but we need to get our heads out of the sand, particularly we Christian women who can make a difference. Let’s examine our priorities, how we spend our time and what it means to us to live free to worship our Lord. Turn your face toward God… Teshuqua (Hebrew word; “to turn” or “turning.”) Be burdened for those who suffer as believers. Today it is Pakistan or Indonesia, but it could someday be you. Are you ready?

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
Ephesians 6:12

Only one life, ’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.
Only one life, yes only one, Soon will its fleeting hours be done;
Then, in ‘that day’ my Lord to meet, And stand before His Judgement seat;
Only one life,’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Only one life, the still small voice, Gently pleads for a better choice
Bidding me selfish aims to leave, And to God’s holy will to cleave;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Only one life, a few brief years, Each with its burdens, hopes, and fears;
Each with its clays I must fulfill, living for self or in His will;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.

When this bright world would tempt me sore, When Satan would a victory score;
When self would seek to have its way, Then help me Lord with joy to say;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Give me Father, a purpose deep, In joy or sorrow Thy word to keep;
Faithful and true what e’er the strife, Pleasing Thee in my daily life;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Oh let my love with fervor burn, And from the world now let me turn;
Living for Thee, and Thee alone, Bringing Thee pleasure on Thy throne;
Only one life, “twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Only one life, yes only one, Now let me say,”Thy will be done”;
And when at last I’ll hear the call, I know I’ll say “twas worth it all”;
Only one life,’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.”
