Tri Faith Initiative to Build 35 Acre Center in Omaha

The Tri Faith Inititative has purchased property in Omaha Nebraska to be used for communal purposes by the three most recognized religions in the world, Chistians, Jews and Muslims.

People who call themselves Christians, Jews, and Muslims will share  35 acres on the site, with a common building to be used for combined events. A temple, church and mosque will occupy the land per the Tri Faith Initiative and an article written in Arab American.com.

The memorandum of understanding was signed in 2006 between the three groups to create the facilities while fundraising has continued. The hope is that the facility will open in the fall of 2013, although work on individual buildings could continue for another year or two. ~Nick Meyer Arabamerican.com
