Asia Bibi stood for Yeshua, sharing her resistance to Islam with coworkers simply by telling them that Mohammad died with worms in his mouth during a water break in the fields where she was working. The incident led to a report to authorities and Bibi was arrested. She is now facing the death sentence according to the following CNN report. After 18 months of jail time, she and her family await her demise at the hands of the Pakistani courts.
Believers are being martyred for there faith in Yeshua all over the world. Please take a few moments and see this You Tube; and subscribe to the Voice of the Martyrs You Tube Channel. Sign up to get emails every time they upload a new video. This to remind us, that we are responsible to pray for our brothers and sisters in Yeshua and also be mindful of the threats facing us here in this country.
The stories are not pleasant, but we need to get our heads out of the sand, particularly we Christian women who can make a difference. Let’s examine our priorities, how we spend our time and what it means to us to live free to worship our Lord. Turn your face toward God… Teshuqua (Hebrew word; “to turn” or “turning.”) Be burdened for those who suffer as believers. Today it is Pakistan or Indonesia, but it could someday be you. Are you ready?
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
Ephesians 6:12ONLY ONE LIFE
Only one life, ’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.
Only one life, yes only one, Soon will its fleeting hours be done;
Then, in ‘that day’ my Lord to meet, And stand before His Judgement seat;
Only one life,’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.
Only one life, the still small voice, Gently pleads for a better choice
Bidding me selfish aims to leave, And to God’s holy will to cleave;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.
Only one life, a few brief years, Each with its burdens, hopes, and fears;
Each with its clays I must fulfill, living for self or in His will;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.
When this bright world would tempt me sore, When Satan would a victory score;
When self would seek to have its way, Then help me Lord with joy to say;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.
Give me Father, a purpose deep, In joy or sorrow Thy word to keep;
Faithful and true what e’er the strife, Pleasing Thee in my daily life;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.
Oh let my love with fervor burn, And from the world now let me turn;
Living for Thee, and Thee alone, Bringing Thee pleasure on Thy throne;
Only one life, “twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.
Only one life, yes only one, Now let me say,”Thy will be done”;
And when at last I’ll hear the call, I know I’ll say “twas worth it all”;
Only one life,’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.”
