Secret panel can put Americans on kill list’ | Reuters

By now most informed Americans understand that no one is safe from being absconded from their home, interrogated and held against their will without legal representation, thanks to our new Department of Homeland Security (DHS); and now, perhaps;  a secret panel of senior government officials.

If this sounds too far fetched for you to believe or consider, what if your spiritual or political views  led to your being deemed an enemy of the state?  Unthinkable? Maybe not today, but what about the future?

If you are a strong bible believing and applying citizen- you already have been ostracized in many institutions across the country; including but not exclusively in schools, public places, and government agencies; some federal, some state and some local.

Consider the abortion issue.  How hard is it to set foot near a clinic if your desire is to speak to the victims of mis or no information?  Many have already been arrested for doing nothing more than sharing truth.

The killing of Anwar al-Awalaki opened a new door. Will you and I ever become suspect? What if we don’t like where our money is spent in Washington, or where the political leaders are going? What if someone didn’t like your views and reported you to DHS  as a possible terrorist?

If law abiding citizens turned their neighbors in to authorities in Hitler’s day, if they do it around the world today, what would stop such an act? Our constitution? Do you know anyone who thinks it is still intact?

If it’s okay with you for government officials to use such actions as were used on Awalaki for all the” bad guys”… when you become a “bad guy,” in different circumstances, would you still think it is such a good idea?
