Blair Takes His Religious Idea to Palestinian Schools

The proof is in the pudding as the saying goes. Tony Blair has extended his “olive branch” to the Palestinian Minister of Education to…

”  celebrate the signing of a two-year MOU  (Memorandum of Understanding) to train more than 200 teachers distributed in 100 schools, as part of “Face to Faith” the Foundation’s global schools program. The agreement aims to uphold the teachers’ communications skills, problem solving and critical thinking through a practical use of technology to adapt the program within the general philosophy of the Palestinian national curricula.”

~From the Tony Blair Faith Foundation website

What’s wrong with this picture except for the obvious? Blair recently shared a stage with Rick Warren from Saddleback Church in Lake Forest California to receive an award. It was the International PEACE Medal.

Extended to  Blair on March 6, 2011,

“The award is given to individuals who exemplify outstanding contributions toward alleviating the issues addressed by the PEACE plan.”  ~according to Warren

A quick look at Blair’s Faith Foundation website reveals Warren is one of his “religous” advisers. These two men are on the fast track to global religion; whether overtly or covertly achieved.

Blair doesn’t think people should go to hell and doesn’t believe God would do such a thing. (See his speech to Yale students on this site.) In this writer’s opinion, the Blair/Warren alliance  is dangerous to bible believing Christians on many levels. Please do your homework on this one.

  • A memorandum of understanding (MOU or MoU) is a document describing a bilateral or multilateral agreement between parties. It expresses a convergence of will between the parties, indicating an intended common line of action. …

The Word’s words matter

Southern Baptists have rejected the new gender-neutral New International Version of the bible. The have found the language to be unacceptable. The 2005 version was also rejected by the group.

Study bibles are an important part of spiritual growth. Let’s be careful about what is new and “innovative” when it comes to studying the inspired word of God. I have used the Ryrie Study bible since 1982.  I have grown enough not to believe everything I read by a commentator (which is basically what a study bible includes… commentary, but not exclusively.) However, I do my own research in other books known for their accuracy and of course and most important, I ask God what He is teaching me.
